Collections Overview - A Collection in My Train Tracker is nothing more than a named container that can hold any number of individual Items. The idea is to name a collection appropriately to represent the group of Items contained in the Collection. For instance: Buildings or Rolling Stock.
For each Collection, you can:
Add a New Collection
1. From your My Control Panel page, navigate to your "My Collections" page by clicking the
Collections icon.
2. Click the "Add New Collection" button.
3. Enter the name of your new Collection into the dialog box that appears, then click the "Submit" button.
You will now have a new empty Collection on your "My Collections" page.
Add New Item To A Collection
There are many ways to add a new Item to a Collection.
Add New Item To Collection - From a Collection on "My Collections" page
1. On the "My Collections" page, scroll to the Collection to which you want to add a new Item and click the "Add New Item" link.
This will bring you to the "Add Item" page and the "Collection" field will be filled in with the name of the current Collection.

Add New Item To Collection - From the "Manage Items" page
1. On the "Manage Items" page, select the Collection to which you want to add a new Item from the "View" drop-down menu to view only the Items belonging to that Collection.
2. Click the "Add New Item" link.
This will bring you to the "Add Item" page and the "Collection" field will be filled in with the name of the current Collection.

Add New Item To Collection - On the "Add Item" page
There are many different ways to get to the "Add Item" page. Regardless of how you get to the page, the Item that you are adding can be added to any Layout and/or Collection by selecting the appropriate Layout and/or Collection from their respective drop-down lists on the "Add Item" page. Edit A Collection's Details
1. From your "My Collections" page, scroll to the Collection you wish edit and click the "Collection Details" link at the top of the appropriate Collection. This will bring you to the "Collection" page.
2. You can rename your Collection and set default values for the Collection. Simply click the "Save Changes" buttons when you are finished and you will be returned to your "My Collections" page.
Edit A Collection's Item
1. On the "Manage Items" page, select the Collection which contains the Item you wish to edit from the "View" drop-down menu to view only the Items belonging to that Collection.
2. a) If the current view (as defined by the selection in the "View" drop-down list) is "Tile" (default), click the underlined Title of the Item you wish to edit.
2. b) If the current view (as defined by the selection in the "View" drop-down list) is "Grid", click the "Edit" link of the Item you wish to edit.
